Maison Alcée at the grand prix d’horlogerie de genève
The Persée Azur timepiece nominated
Maison Alcée is delighted to announce its preselection for the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève, the GPHG.
The Persée Azur timepiece has been nominated in the “Mechanical Clocks” category.
Persée is not just a simple clock; it invites you, through space and time, to share the heritage of a mountainous region shaped by the Franco-Swiss Jura. By assembling your own Persée timepiece, you will discover a centuries-old craftsmanship that brings the invisible—Time—to life.
This unique approach is surely what caught the attention of the GPHG Academy: a way to transmit craftsmanship, a sense of beauty, and the art of patience.

Watchmaking craftsmanship honored at the GPHG
To assemble the Persée timepiece, you will receive a solid presentation box containing 233 components, 17 watchmaking tools, and a beautifully illustrated 150-page book to guide you through the assembly while sharing part of watchmaking history.
Created with a team of experts, watchmaking professors, and a Swiss designer, this unique experience lets you discover what it’s like to be a clockmaker.
The Persée timepiece features hour, minute, and second hands, as well as a striking mechanism that chimes on the hour. It also has a power reserve of two weeks. Its movement was developed so that even beginners can bring it to life with their own hands. Over 90% of its production is carried out within the Franco-Swiss Jura Arc.

The winners will be announced on November 9 at the Théâtre du Léman in Geneva.
