Maison Alcée at the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize

For independent creatives

Maison Alcée is proud to share its nomination for the Louis Vuitton Watch Prize, a prize that honours the art of independent watchmaking.

Among more than 1,000 applications, our Persée Nuit timepiece was selected as one of the 20 semi-finalists by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.

It is an honour to stand alongside renowned watchmakers.
A true recognition of the experience we offer: that of becoming a builder of a pretext to measure time… or rather, to understand it.

The Louis Vuitton Watch Prize by La Fabrique du Temps

Watchmaking is the art of daring to play with the concept of Time.
This is how Louis Vuitton introduces its Watch Prize and these words deeply resonate with the values of our Maison.

Watchmaking is a craft unlike any other, sitting at the crossroads of art, science and philosophy. It invites us to explore the mystery of Time while demanding a rare mastery of both manual precision and scientific insight.

The Louis Vuitton Watch Prize is an independent and philanthropic initiative led by Jean Arnault, Director of the Louis Vuitton Watch Division.
Through this prize, La Fabrique du Temps celebrates the excellence and boldness of independent watchmaking, supports visionary artisans and entrepreneurs and the next generation of talent.

“Watchmaking is the art of daring to play with the concept of Time.”
