The concept behind this clock, delivered in individual components, is to invite each person to become a watchmaker — assembling a personal masterpiece from 233 parts presented in a wooden case. A watchmaking book guides future owners step by step, enriched with historical anecdotes and detailed instructions.
A bold initiative — and one that paid off, as the Maison continues to be recognized for its unique vision.

Founded in 2001, the GPHG is often compared to the Oscars of the watchmaking world. This annual event celebrates excellence, creativity, and innovation in the art of timekeeping.
On Thursday, November 10, 2023, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève took place at the Théâtre du Léman. Receiving the Audacity Prize from Edouard Baer was more than just a milestone — it was a true consecration for Maison Alcée.
This prize celebrates Alcée’s vision from the very beginning of the project. Without the invaluable collaboration of Thierry Ducret (Meilleur Ouvrier de France), Jean-Marie Desgranges (professor of horological construction), Benoît Montfort (engineer and co-founder of Maison Alcée), and Antoine Tschumi (gifted Swiss designer), this boldness would never have been possible.
They all share one belief: to pass on the magnificence of watchmaking art.
