Privacy Policy

The General Data Protection Regulation is a set of laws put in place by the European Commission on 25 May 2018 for all companies operating in Europe. At Maison Alcée, we are therefore concerned!

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN IN PRACTICE?

To protect the Internet users from data leaks or from the abusive use of personal data, it is henceforth obligatory for the companies to inform the visitors of all the data processing which is carried out from the collected data. At Maison Alcée the collection of this data is limited to the strict necessary and aims at ensuring the good progress of your order and the various services which we offer.

We have nothing to hide, we want to be as transparent as possible, so we will tell you everything!

WILL MAISON ALCEE RETURN MY PERSONAL DATA?

Some companies exchange customer files to make commercial prospecting, know that at Maison Alcée this is and will never be the case. All the data that we collect remain with us and will never be given, rented or sold to a third company.

IS MY PASSWORD SECURE?

All passwords are stored "encrypted" and it is impossible to decrypt them. They are therefore safe.

AND MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?

For credit card payments, we work with Monetico of the CIC to guarantee the protection of your data. The processing of your order goes through a secure payment gateway which, like our entire website, uses the HTTPS protocol. This means that your bank details are protected and encrypted, and at no time do we store or have access to your bank card number.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO YOU COLLECT ABOUT ME?

Ordering

When you create a customer account on our website, we store in our systems all the information necessary to place an order: your email, your first and last name, your postal address and your telephone number in order to prepare and deliver your package.

These order details are only passed on to our transport service provider who works to ensure that the parcel reaches you.

The service provider is not allowed to use your data for any purpose other than processing your order and must delete the data from its computer system after processing. This service provider stores the data in data centres in Europe.

However, if you choose to have your order delivered outside of Europe, your data, such as your postal address, will necessarily be transmitted to the logistics services of the carrier who will deliver to you in that country.

The Letter

If you have given us your consent, we use your email address to send you our newsletter. Please note that if you do not wish to receive these emails, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our newsletters or directly on the website in your account area. This will take effect immediately.

Like most online merchants, we record visits and then display targeted advertising when you browse other websites. This process does not manipulate any personal data and neither the advertising company nor the third party sites displaying our ads have access to your personal details.

However, if you no longer wish to see our advertisements, you can delete the cookies from your web browser. To find out how to do this go to https://www.comment-supprimer.com/les-cookies/

HOW LONG WILL MY DATA BE KEPT?

Your data is kept for as long as it takes to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, in compliance with the time limits imposed by the regulations in force. Thus, data collected for canvassing purposes may be kept for a maximum of 3 years from the closing of your account.

Your data is deleted when the retention periods expire. Nevertheless, they may be archived beyond the periods provided for in order to meet the needs of research, establishment and prosecution of criminal offences. This archiving is done for the sole purpose of making your data available to the judicial authorities. Your data will then be anonymised and will no longer be available for consultation online but will be extracted and stored on an independent and secure medium.
