Maison Alcée at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix

The Persée Azur clock nominated for a GPHG award

Maison Alcée is delighted to announce its preselection for the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève, the GPHG.

The Persée Azur clock was nominated in the "mechanical clock" category.

Persée is more than just a clock: it engages you in space and time to pass on the knowledge of a mountainous region inhabited by the Franco-Swiss Jura people. By assembling your own Persée clock, you'll discover an age-old savoir-faire that brings Time, the invisible, to life.

It was certainly this approach that caught the attention of the GPHG Academy. It's a way of passing on know-how, a sense of beauty and a taste for patience.

Watchmaking expertise showcased at GPHG

To assemble the Persée clock, you'll receive a solid wood box containing 233 components, 17 watchmaking tools and a beautiful 150-page book to guide you through the assembly of your Persée clock, while passing on a piece of watchmaking history.

Created with a team of experts, watchmaking teachers and a Swiss designer, this unique experience lets you slip into the watchmaker's shoes.

The Persée clock features hours, minutes, seconds and a chime at the passing of the hours, as well as a two-week power reserve. Its movement has been developed so that it can take on a life of its own in the hands of any neophyte. Over 95% of the watch is manufactured in the French-Swiss Jura Arc region.
